DTS/Youth News for the new season Masses in the Extraordinary Form: Sept. 3, First Friday, 7:00 pm; Wed., Sept. 8, Nativity of Our Blessed Mother, 7:00 pm; Tues., Sept. 14, Exaltation of the Cross, 7:00 pm. Saturday, September 4 – Little Flowers & Blue Knights; 1st meeting of a new year; St. Anthony Shrine (website) for Mass and teaching. (map) More information will follow. Sunday, September 5 – Archbishop Schnurr will be the main celebrant at the 11:00am Mass at Old St. Mary's. This is in conjuction with the National Kolping Society Conference being held in Cincinnati. Please join us in this wonderful event. Thursday, September 16 thru Sunday, September
19 – 40 Hours of Devotion. This will
begin at 6:00 am Thursday with exposition and end at 4:00 pm Sunday
with Solemn Closing, sung Vespers and Benediction. Sunday, Sept. 5 thru June 26, 2011 – Sunday Vespers will be chanted using the 1962 Rite. The men's schola from Sacred Heart will sing for the entire season. Sunday, Sept. 5 thru Sept. 13 – Exaltation of the Cross Novena. The feast day is on the 14th. Prayers are available in the church.
Thursdays – Classes for Inquirers into the Catholic Faith – every Thursday from 7:15 to 9:00 pm in Fr. Felten Hall beginning in September.
