Sunday, May 20 – Deacon Jon-Paul Bevac’s First Mass; his Priestly Ordination will be on May 19, 2012 and his first Mass will be celebrated on May 20 at OSM at 11 a.m. We will hold an All-Parish Mass at 11a.m. with Jon-Paul officiating a Tridentine Mass with Fr. Whitaker as the homilist and Fr. Valentine assisting. Old St. Mary’s Pipe Organ Restoration Old St. Mary’s has received a donation of $20,000 if we can match $20,000 in additional donations. For every dollar that is donated to the Pipe Organ Fund, they will donate a dollar up to $20,000 for a total of $40,000. If possible, now would be a great time to donate to the fund! The work will be completed in three phases. The first and most important phase is to replace the console which includes the keys, wiring and stops for a cost of $110,000. We have collected $102,000 in donations towards this effort. We are getting very close to meeting the first stage goal. It is a privilege to be stewards of our beautiful historic Catholic Church in Over-the-Rhine, Old St. Mary’s. Please be as generous as possible.
